We are currently recruiting a Multi Lines Field Adjuster to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

As a Claims Adjuster, you'll play a key role in helping customers navigate challenging situations by investigating losses, evaluating claims, and negotiating fair settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements. You'll manage a diverse caseload while building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.

This is a field-based role that offers variety and autonomy, with regular travel to loss sites throughout the region. When you're not in the field, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home, creating a balance between independence, collaboration, and meaningful client interactions.
Investigation, collection and analysis of claims information
Examines policies and settles claims while maintaining claims costs and abiding by provincial licensing regulations
Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files
Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records




Work with manager to maintain client relations
Minimum 5 years of experience handling property and/or casualty claims.
Ability to get an Independent Adjuster License in all Atlantic provinces.
Ability to get an Independent Adjuster License in Ontario would be an asset.
CIP designation or working towards CIP designation is required.
Robust knowledge of liability insurance policies.
Post-secondary education in an insurance related field is an asset.
Solid attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Robust analytical and mathematical ability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong team player who contributes positively to group goals to achieve shared success.
Valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation is required.
Regular travel to loss sites within the region is required.
