Seeking an experienced medical office assistant (MOA) for busy ophthalmology practice in Abbotsford. Right candidate must have the following:
Medical Office Assistant certificate
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to type a minimum of 45 wpm
Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
Ability to multitask
EMR knowledge (preferably Accuro) but will train the right candidate
Fast learner
Pleasant phone manners
Willing to be crossed-trained in other ophthalmic duties
Team player

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with front desk, operations, and management teams to ensure data alignment




Identify and correct data discrepancies or errors promptly

Follow hospitality industry standards and company data management policies

Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, Data Entry Clerk, or Administrative Assistant
Excellent typing speed and accuracy
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel, and hospitality management software
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle high volumes of data in a quick-paced workplace
Effective communication skills and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the hospitality industry or hotel management systems
Familiarity with POS, reservation software, or ERP systems

Post-secondary education in Business Administration or Office Management. Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
