Job Summary
Seasons and cooks food according to recipes and food safety standards.
Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking their quality, keeping track of old and current items, and rotating stock.
Inspects and cleans food preparation and serving areas to ensure protected and sanitary food-handling practices.
Observes and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds fruits and vegetables to prepare them for consumption.
Cleans and maintains kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and utensils.
Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans by hand or using dishwashers.
Performs other related duties as needed.
Job Qualifications
Cooking Experience: 1 year or more(preferred)
Food Safety/Handler Certification (NS)
