MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST (Internal title: FBH Clinician III)
Vancouver, WA (Oak View Site - Near Vancouver Mall)

NEW-HIRE SIGN-ON BONUS: $3,000

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE available.

We are a values-driven organization providing family-oriented behavioral health care for children, youth and families, primarily in their own homes and community.

Training and Supervision

Extensive training in multiple clinical approaches and related areas.

Daily and weekly supervision and immediate assistance and clinical supervision/consultation available at any time.

Responsibilities

Provide family-oriented, strength-based mental health services for children and families in their own homes and community.

Work flexible schedules based on client needs.

Participate in on-call rotation with other clinicians and clinical care coordinators.

Collaborate with families, community agents, and government agencies to achieve long‑term safety and stability.

Assist in developing and implementing individualized service plans.

Serve as a catalyst for change and implement innovative approaches within community behavioral health.





Qualifications

Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences or equivalent accredited degree.

Passion for helping families stay together.

Energetic, creative style with ability to engage children, youth, and family members.

Enthusiastic and optimistic approach, encouraging participation.

Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Demonstrated culturally competent skills and ability to work effectively in multicultural settings.

Ability to assess safety in community and family homes.

Ability to meet clients and colleagues in homes and community settings.

For clinicians serving Burien Youth and Families, bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.

Preference for flexible schedule over traditional 8‑5 facility‑based position.

Ability to participate in on‑call rotation.

Must pass required background clearances prior to offer.

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and acceptable driving record per agency policy.
