Position Details
Position: Full-Time Line Cook
Location: Explorer Hotel, Yellowknife, NT
Schedule: Primarily evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
Reports To: Executive Chef / Sous Chef

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Follow all food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure excellent guest experiences.




Support banquet and special event food preparation as needed.

Qualifications
Previous line cook experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar food service environment preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Food Safe Certification is considered an asset.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
