Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate industrial paper bag manufacturing machines efficiently and safely.
Adjust machine settings during bag size changeovers, minimizing downtime while maintaining product specifications.
Meet or exceed daily production targets in accordance with operational goals.
Troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical adjustments to ensure product quality and maintain optimal machine run speeds.
Complete daily shift activity reports and communicate results and progress to upper management.
Responsible for cleaning and routine maintenance of bag machines to ensure operational readiness.
Assist in delegating workflow within the team and coordinate with management on disciplinary actions when necessary.
Prepare and maintain accurate production records.
Develop and implement standardized work systems and process documentation.
Perform other tasks as directed by plant management.

Qualifications:




Minimum of five years of experience operating a paper bag manufacturing machine.
Ability to read and write simple instructions and effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
Capable of interpreting technical documents, including safety protocols, operating procedures, and maintenance manuals.
Demonstrated commitment to working safely with a solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
Solid mechanical aptitude; ability to perform physical tasks including some lifting.
Excellent time management skills; dependable, punctual, and reliable.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
