Fort Garry Fire Trucks Rubber

Division is looking to hire a full-time General Labourer. As a General Labourer in the Rubber Division, you will be part of the team responsible for completing manufactured rubber products.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:
Completing rubber work after the work is laid out by the supervisor or senior employee
Working with several types of machinery
Using basic power and hand tools
Cleaning up work area
Assisting with additional duties as assigned

Applicant Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Legally entitled to work in Manitoba
Fluent spoken and written English and valuable interpersonal communication skills




Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds individually or 100 pounds with assistance
Experience reading basic drawings and interpreting the data to select suitable material types
Experience verifying dimensions using measuring instruments (tape measures, rulers, framing and T-squares) for layouts
Ability to work independently and in a team
Reliable transportation: busing is not available at our location
