Responsibilities
Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes by verifying invoices and processing payments
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly
Help with account analysis and prepare reports to monitor financial health and identify potential issues
Support payroll processing by ensuring employee hours and deductions are accurately recorded
Maintain organized records of invoices,
receipts, and financial documents for audit readiness
Collaborate with senior team members on budgeting tasks and financial reporting projects
Requirements
Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly preferred
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to perform bank reconciliations and account analysis accurately
Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning recent skills
Prior experience or coursework in accounting or finance is a plus but not required
