Vancouver Coastal Health seeks a Family Physician specializing in Emergency to serve the Bella Bella community at Heiltsuk Hospital. This full time locum position involves vital healthcare responsibilities in a scenic island setting. As a locum Family Physician, you will deliver emergency and primary care services to residents while working approximately 48 hours a week.

Located in a community of the Heiltsuk Nation, the role includes direct patient care in both the clinic and emergency settings, supported by a robust healthcare team. Emergency experience and valid certifications are necessary for this impactful role. Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency medical interventions as needed
Offer routine health care services to residents




Participate actively in the hospital's call schedule
Ensure quality assessments and treatments in various settings
Support the delivery of acute and inpatient care Requirements:
Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications needed
Full College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC License
Emergency care experience highly valued
CCFP designation is an asset
