Walk Time is a local dog walking and pet care company serving the High Park, Bloor West Village, and Junction areas. We’re dedicated to providing reliable, caring, and professional service to both dogs and their owners. Our goal is easy: keep pets happy, healthy, and well cared for while supporting our busy clients.

Dog Walkers (part time )

Dog Boarders (host dogs in your own home while clients are away)

About the Role

As part of the Walk Time team, you’ll be trusted to care for our clients’ dogs with respect, kindness, and attention to detail.

Dog walkers provide mid-day exercise and companionship. Dog boarders care for pets in their own homes while owners are away.

This is ideal for people who love animals, enjoy being outdoors, and want flexible, meaningful work.

Typical Hours

Dog walks take place between 10 AM and 3 PM, Monday to Friday.

Boarding hours vary depending on client bookings.

Responsibilities

Dog Walkers:

. Pick up and drop off dogs on time

. Provide protected, on-leash neighbourhood walks




Follow client instructions for each dog’s needs and habits
Refresh water, wipe paws, and offer treats as needed
Walk in all weather conditions
Send short text or photo updates to clients after walks

Dog Boarders:
Provide a safe, smoke-free, pet-friendly home environment
Follow feeding, medication, and care instructions
Keep dogs happy, exercised, and comfortable
Communicate with clients during their dog’s stay

What We’re Looking For . Reliable, responsible, and professional

. Live in West Toronto

. Able to manage your own schedule and communicate clearly

. Comfortable walking several hours a day

. Willing to work in all weather conditions

. Access to a vehicle preferred

. Police background check required

. Experience with dogs or pet care is a plus

. Most of all, a genuine love for dogs

Compensation

. Paid per walk or boarding service

. Covered under Walk Time’s pet care insurance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$150.00 per day
