Under Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a Product Specialist, Partner Development to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Product Specialist, Partner Development you will ensure Hotel Contracts, Rate Revisions, Destination Transfers and Excursions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. The Product Specialist, Partner Development is also responsible to communicate updates, changes to hotel information internally for customer advisement and for updates to the WEB/hotel pages according to deadlines. The position reports to the Director, Product Support, and will be located in Toronto, ON .

What You’ll Do

Assist the Director/Buyers with the overall management and implementation of contracts

Mange accuracy of contracts, and any changes

Review rates and mange promotional rate updates

Input and manage contracts within contracting system and all correspondence from hotels

Completion and follow up of hotel contracts and details

Maintain all contracts and correspondence from hotels in the internal drive

Responsible for the completion of contracts (promo rooms, Marketing, rep rooms, specialty packages, group promotions, staff travel, terms and conditions, deposits, guarantees, payment terms, and all information in relation to contracts)

Ensure reductions/promotions are aggressive, if not,



bring to the Director’s attention for further direction

Review hotel reduction entered by suppliers

Assist in matters related to negotiations, reductions, and promotions

Weekly meetings with Director and Buyers to review sales and develop weekly strategy (review any rate reduction charts, promotions being pursued, master product plan updating as well as any additional charts deemed relevant)

Review and analyze relevant reports

Review risk production to ensure target numbers are being met.

Review and analyze empty seats report with Destination Team, identify problem areas and courses of action

Daily review of sales for hotel contracts, specifically risk hotel contracts

Assist the Director with trade show meeting plans and reports

Manage internal department support and collaborate with external supplier

Assist with bumping’s and the negotiation of appropriate compensation

Liaise with other departments and process information as related to the Product Department

Maintain a good and constant relationship/communication internally and with suppliers

Provide hotel content web update for Sunwing.ca

What You’ll Need

High School diploma

One (1) to three (3) years of work-related experience

Post-secondary education in Travel and Tourism or a related field

Travel and Tourism Certificate

TICO Regulations

Strong use of office technology (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, teams etc.)

Very detail-oriented,



and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Exceptional problem-solving skills

Able to follow company’s policy and procedures, as well as understanding of the organizational structures and functional responsibilities relevant to the area of responsibility
