About the Opportunity
Manage and monitor all GL accounts, subledgers, and reconciliations ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Close month ends within 10 business days
Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation
Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow
Contribute to the accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an workplace of trust and productivity
About You
Accounting Designation required (CPA, CA, or CPA, CMA)
University Degree or an advanced degree in finance and accounting
5+ years experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
Experience working in or with large retailers in trade management, deductions or similar that impact expected profitability
Strong understanding of banking processes
Ability to coach and mentor other finance team members
SAP ERP experience a plus
Ability to adapt quickly
Salary Range
$120,000 - $130,000/year
