Printing Equipment Technician/Technical Support

Print Digital Solutions (PDS) is a fast growing equipment distributor in the Printing and Graphics Industry looking for a service technician to join the team. As a person with technical expertise, you will be an essential asset in both equipment service and customer technical support. This role is ideal for someone who is solution driven and is fulfilled by customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include technical support in-house and out in the field, so a G license in good standing is mandatory. Other responsibilities include Field Installations, Training and Technical Support which all require solid communication skills in English.

Key Job Functions
Field installations of printing related equipment including (but not limited to) labels, t-shirts, packaging, promotional products, signage, finishing (cutters, booklet makers, creasers, laminators, folders etc.) and more
Customer training and follow up support
Trouble shooting customer problems related to equipment software and hardware




Produce printed samples in-house
Live equipment demos

Job Requirements
5+ years technical experience in the printing and graphics industry
Technical service experience with printers and copiers
Positive and ambitious attitude
Solid computer skills
Experience with graphics software such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
IT experience an asset
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Customer service mentality
G License with valuable driving record
Team player
Willingness to work extra hours, if needed

Schedule Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
