Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare accurate bids and proposals
Conduct thorough quantity take-offs, pricing materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services
Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather competitive quotes and negotiate terms
Analyze project risks, contingencies, and allowances to ensure precise budgeting
Prepare detailed bid packages and present estimates clearly to stakeholders
Maintain organized records of all estimating activities for future reference and audits
Skills
Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam
Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing with vendors and subcontractors
