We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our electrical construction projects. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with clients and vendors to ensure competitive pricing. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality electrical solutions on time and within budget, fueling our reputation for excellence in the construction industry.

Duties
Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to develop comprehensive electrical cost estimates
Utilize estimating software such as Petabid and Accubid to prepare detailed bids and proposals
Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and pricing analysis for electrical materials, labor, and equipment
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine project scope and ensure accurate estimates
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms
Prepare bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation for project submissions
Monitor project budgets during execution to ensure estimates align with actual costs and adjust as needed
Stay informed about industry trends, recent products, and technological advancements in construction estimating
Skills
Proficiency in Accubid or Petabid for digital markup and document management
Strong negotiation skills to secure optimal pricing from vendors and subcontractors
Experience in project management within the construction or electrical industry
Familiarity with HeavyBid or similar estimating software tools
Solid understanding of construction estimating principles specific to electrical systems
Extensive construction experience with a focus on electrical installations and systems
Ability to accurately perform pricing analysis, quantity take-offs, and cost comparisons
