Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Utilize dental software such as Cleardent for documentation and patient management.
Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques throughout all procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Stay current with dental terminology, medical coding, and advancements in dental hygiene practices.
Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist is required.
Proficiency in Cleardent Software and Perio Charting is Mandatory.
Experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry is preferred.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and understanding of anatomy knowledge is essential.
Familiarity with documentation review processes and maintaining accurate medical records is necessary.
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health needs.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing exceptional patient care.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices within a clinical setting.
