We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental office procedures, and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.

The Dental

Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes
Schedule appointments accurately using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
Verify patient insurance information and process billing using Epic or comparable systems
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries or redirecting calls as needed
Maintain organized patient records within electronic medical records systems
Collect payments and explain treatment plans to patients clearly




Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and correspondence
Ensure the reception area remains clean, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
Collaborate with dental team members to facilitate smooth daily operations

Experience
Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office setting preferred
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is highly advantageous
Experience with Dentrix, Epic, or other electronic medical records software preferred
Robust office experience including front desk management and administrative support
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and appointment scheduling software is essential

Previous medical office experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific systems used in our practice Pay: $28.00 per hour
