We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our energetic warehouse team. Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to transport goods throughout the warehouse
Perform heavy lifting of pallets, boxes, and materials safely and efficiently in accordance with safety protocols
Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movement, update stock levels, and process order picking tasks
Assist with order picking by accurately selecting items based on pick lists and preparing shipments for dispatch
Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly
Utilize clamp trucks for handling specific types of loads requiring specialized gripping mechanisms
Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to safety standards and best practices
Requirements
Proven experience operating forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, in a warehouse setting
Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements
Physical capability to lift heavy loads repeatedly throughout the shift and stand or walk for extended periods
Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation and warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
