Experienced Server – Morris East Halifax (Quinpool Road Area)

Morris East is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic server to join our team!

Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, professional service while managing your own section
Guide guests through the menu and make food, wine, beer, and cocktail recommendations
Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
Deliver food and beverages promptly and assist with table maintenance
Process cash, debit, and credit card payments
Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails
Answer phones and process takeout orders through both phone and online ordering systems
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to provide an outstanding guest experience

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of serving experience preferred
Experience in a high-volume restaurant
Comfortable performing wine service at the table
Bartending experience is considered an asset
Serve Right certification is required
Food Handler Certification is an asset
