Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and care during transport.
Perform heavy lifting and moving of items as required.
Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any inquiries.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate the loading process and manage inventory as needed.
Utilize forklift equipment when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience in commercial driving preferred but not required.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks (up to 50 pounds).
Robust communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
