Job Summary The Odd Size Filter Fabrication Technician is responsible for manufacturing custom and non-standard air filtration products according to customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate fabrication equipment while ensuring products meet performance and dimensional requirements.
Responsibilities
Fabricate custom-sized air filters and media pads
Read and interpret work orders to produce filters with accurate dimensions.
Measure, cut, assemble, and bond filter media, frames, and components using appropriate tools and equipment.
Operate fabrication machinery such as saws, shears, cutters, presses, adhesive applicators, and other production equipment.
Inspect finished products to verify dimensions, construction quality, and compliance with customer specifications.
Maintain production records and accurately document completed work.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of fabrication equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly environments preferred
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations
Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus
Basic computer skills for production tracking are a plus.
Physical Requirements This position is based in a manufacturing facility and requires adherence to all safety policies, quality procedures, and production schedules.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
Ability to work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pay: $23.75 per hour
