Provide effective kinesiology care to seniors in a community setting as a Kinesiologist in the SMART Program. Your focus on evidence-based practices is key.

This casual role at VON Canada allows you to work directly with clients to enhance their independence and health through tailored exercise and rehabilitation programs. You will be responsible for assessments, goal setting, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize client care and safety. The aim is fostering a supportive setting that encourages active living for seniors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer kinesiology services guided by VON standards
• Develop in-home tailored exercise interventions
• Perform detailed client assessments in various settings




• Educate seniors on falls prevention practices
• Document and communicate client progress and needs

Requirements:
• Degree in Kinesiology or related field
• Registered with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in health care
• First Aid and CPR certification needed
• Familiarity with social health networks and programming
