Become a Certified Automotive Mechanic, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice at Northland Fleet Services in Tumbler Ridge, BC. Your role will focus on the inspection, maintenance, and repair of diverse automotive equipment.

In this full-time position, you’ll be engaged in hands-on diagnostics and repair efforts to ensure all equipment is functioning effectively. We provide opportunities for rotational work with accommodations for those coming from outside Tumbler Ridge. Successful candidates will have a robust foundation in diesel mechanics and a willingness to learn new technologies in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and diagnose automotive issues effectively
• Carry out repairs and ensure vehicle serviceability




• Conduct performance tests and adjustments on engines
• Maintain compliance with relevant safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex issues

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic
• Class 5 driver’s license required; Class 3 preferred
• Experience with computer diagnostic systems
• Registered in an apprenticeship program
• Strong ability to communicate and lift heavy machinery
