Role Description The Glazier role at DNO Glass is a full-time, on-site position based in Calgary, AB. In this role, the Glazier installs aluminum framing systems, glass, doors, and related structures in commercial settings. Day-to-day tasks include performing layouts, preparing anchors, glazing aluminum curtain walls and storefronts, caulking, flashing, and ensuring work meets safety and quality standards.

The Glazier also inspects existing installations, identifies required repairs, and collaborates with team members to complete projects on schedule.



The role involves direct interaction with site superintendents, maintaining a qualified attitude and explicit communication to support customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Strong skills in: performing layouts; installing, sealing, preparing, glazing, and finishing frames; installing aluminum and glass doors and related hardware; and installing interior glass partition systems.

Proficiency in glazing techniques for various systems.

Demonstrated communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and maintain professionalism in office.

Familiarity with hand and power tools, safe lifting practices, and adherence to workplace health and safety standards.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.

Previous experience as a glazier is required.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites in Calgary and southern Alberta.
