Step into the role of CAD Technician with TRP, where you will develop 3D BIM models for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension project. Your proficiency in Revit and Civil 3D is essential in this role.
In this position, you will maintain digital models and produce accurate 2D drawings for subway infrastructure. Your expertise will assist in translating engineering designs into effective BIM documentation, while supporting collaboration with engineers and survey teams throughout the project cycle. Accuracy and compliance with BIM standards are crucial components of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings
• Develop alignments, layouts, and cross sections from designs
• Execute model-based quantity take-offs to aid in project estimation
• Update models with the latest design and survey data
• Manage digital files in Autodesk Construction Cloud
Requirements:
• Diploma/degree in Drafting or Civil Engineering
• Up to 2 years of CAD experience, preferably in infrastructure
• Robust proficiency with Revit and Civil 3D software
• Experience with BIM data management practices
• Effective communication within multidisciplinary teams
