Job Summary

Under supervision of Special Education Program Administrator, will provide quality education to deaf and hard of hearing students, preschools through high school age; through a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs; communication and social skill development; interagency cooperation, and a robust parent-teacher-student linkage. Opportunities exist to develop and experiment with adaptive technology; vocational education, and integration with non-handicapped populations.

Requirements / Qualifications

Successful candidate must possess a valid California Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching credential or have the ability to secure a California credential. Interns are accepted. This position is represented by the California Teachers Association.
