Altis Recruitment is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner for a 3-month contract role. Work in a cooperative HR team, providing strategic HR support in a public sector context. This position reports to the Manager of Human Resources and is part of a five-member HR Business Partner team. You will act as an advisor to leaders and employees, managing employee relations and fostering a respectful workplace.

Your role will be pivotal in addressing complex HR issues and implementing solutions that enhance organizational culture. Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance on employee relations and HR policies
Lead workplace investigations and conflict resolution
Advise on collective agreements and employment legislation
Coach managers on performance management practices
Oversee attendance management and accommodation processes Requirements:
5+ years of progressive HR experience
Experience in unionized and non-unionized environments
Solid knowledge of employment legislation
Excellent communication skills across all levels
