We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in a nurturing environment. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will play an essential role in ensuring that residents receive nutritious and appealing meals. This position is particularly suited for individuals who have a passion for food service and customer care, especially within a nursing home or hospital setting.

Duties
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are met.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including utensils, equipment, and dining spaces.
Help with food handling and storage according to health regulations to ensure food safety.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal service and assist with meal delivery to residents.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents during meal times, addressing their needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
Support the kitchen staff in various tasks as needed, including inventory management and meal preparation.

Skills




Previous experience in a kitchen workplace or food service is preferred, especially in nursing homes or hospitals.
Robust time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy meal periods.
Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
A compassionate attitude towards helping others and a commitment to providing quality care through nutrition.
