JOB DUTIES:
Prepare and serve meals and snacks
Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all policies and procedures set by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care
Work as a team with staff from other departments
REQUIREMENTS - Must be a highly motivated individual and able to multitask under tight time constraints
Food Service Worker Certification completed, currently or intent to be enrolled in the Food Service Worker Program considered an asset, however not required.
Secure Food Handlers certificate from an Ontario Health Unit.
Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector Screening
Grade 12 education or equivalent combination of education and experience (with some exceptions).
Ability to read and follow instructions, as well as use technology effectively as required.
Must be able to communicate effectively with management, clients and co-workers.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision and accomplish tasks in fast paced environment while maintaining a polite, spirit of service attitude.
Must have previous proven good attendance record.
Physically capable of coping with moderately heavy (50 lbs) work load
Must be flexible and adapt easily to changes in schedule, work assignments, and setting.
Must be able to adjust to a forever changing setting.
Must provide proof of 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine as well as copy of immunization record.

Casual; permanent
Part Time; temporary
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
