Duties
Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and positive interactions at all times.
Support children with daily routines such as meal times, diapering or toileting, and rest periods with patience and care.
Engage children in creative activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and movement to stimulate their imagination.
Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and any special needs to inform ongoing care plans.
Foster inclusive environments by supporting children with diverse backgrounds or disabilities through personalized caregiving strategies.
Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
Experience
Previous classroom experience working with young children in an educational or caregiving setting is highly preferred.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset.
Demonstrated ability to teach or assist in early childhood education activities with enthusiasm and patience.
Solid background in caregiving roles that involve nurturing, supervising, and supporting children's development.
Familiarity with safety protocols related to child supervision and health standards in childcare environments.
