We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing processes, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a positive experience for potential tenants. This position requires robust sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for property management.
Duties
Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
Assist with the application process, including data entry and verification of applicant information.
Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and tenant interactions using property management software such as Yardi.
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective tenants.
Collaborate with the property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet leasing standards.
Utilize effective phone etiquette to communicate with clients and vendors professionally.
Support administrative tasks related to leasing operations, including filing, scheduling appointments, and preparing lease agreements.
Experience
Proven experience in sales or customer service roles is essential.
Familiarity with property management practices is preferred.
Robust administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and office software applications.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM) is a plus.
Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is advantageous but not required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
