Duties
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and menu plans.
Ensure all food handling practices meet safety standards to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene.
Assist in meal planning by following approved recipes and accommodating special dietary needs when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas to uphold food safety standards.
Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and properly storing ingredients.
Serve meals to children in a friendly, efficient manner while promoting positive eating habits.




Follow all health regulations and safety procedures during food preparation and service.

Experience
Previous experience in food preparation or food service, preferably within a childcare, school, or restaurant setting.
Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques suitable for young children’s nutritional needs.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and cleanliness.
Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining efficiency during busy meal times.
Strong organizational skills for managing kitchen supplies and adhering to scheduled meal times.
