Duties
Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to support repair projects
Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand machinery systems
Support the assembly and disassembly of mechanical components for troubleshooting purposes
Operate heavy equipment like forklifts and farm machinery under supervision for testing and positioning
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during repairs
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in mechanics is a plus
automotive repair experience is preferred but not required
Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools and power tools
Willingness to learn electrical systems, schematics
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
Robust attention to detail with valuable problem-solving skills
