In this MHSU clinician position, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive services to clients facing challenges with mental illness and substance use disorders. Your responsibilities will include developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs and supporting clients during crisis situations. Experience in assessing client needs and collaborating with community resources is vital for effective intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and assess effective recovery plans for clients
• Manage intake processes and evaluate eligibility for services
• Facilitate connections to community resources and support initiatives
• Advocate for clients and assist them with appeals and paperwork
• Record client interactions and progress in compliance with regulations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counselling, or related field
• At least two years of relevant experience in mental health support
• Adaptable and able to manage a diverse caseload
• BC Driver’s License and access to vehicle necessary
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
