Job Overview
AF Cold Storage is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and coordinating daily dock activity, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication with clients and carriers. This role requires strong communication skills and a keen ability to problem‑solving and resolve various operational challenges.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound appointments.

Oversee daily dock activities for efficient loading and unloading.

Serve as a point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams.

Address inventory discrepancies, carrier delays, and logistical challenges.

Organize repairs and maintenance for warehouse equipment.

Manage and maintain records of shipments and receipts.

Prepare reports on warehouse performance and safety.

Work closely with warehouse staff and managers for smooth operations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Adhere to health, safety,



and food safety standards.

Perform additional tasks as needed for efficient operations.

Qualifications

Post‑secondary education.

Previous experience in warehouse coordination or similar roles.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem‑solving and attention to detail capabilities.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Familiarity with HACCP and CFIA regulations is a plus.

Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and related software.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as required.
