Duties
Supervise daily centre activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols
Lead and support a team of educators and caregivers, providing mentorship and career development opportunities
Coordinate classroom schedules, lesson plans, and activities that promote early childhood development
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and community partners to create an inclusive setting
Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies
Monitor classroom environments for quality assurance, including classroom experience and caregiving practices
Assist with onboarding new staff members and facilitate ongoing training related to working with individuals with disabilities and teaching strategies
Qualifications
Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or related fields
Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs
Strong background in caregiving, teaching, or early childhood development principles
Knowledge of best practices in early childhood education and inclusive care approaches
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support staff effectively
Effective communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members
Certification or training in early childhood education is preferred; relevant caregiving certifications are a plus
