We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care. This position involves assisting with medication preparation, administration, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. A strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in a hospital setting will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
Good experience in compounding Medication
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
Maintain patient records and ensure all medication orders are processed correctly.
Provide support in medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication information.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Assist in the training of new pharmacy staff as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
Previous experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
Solid knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented workplace while providing exceptional patient care.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
