Job Summary

Salmon Stone Childcare Centre is a newly licensed 49 space childcare centre in West Fraserlands (Kent St & Kerr St). We are seeking an experienced and compassionate 3 to 5 Childcare Team Lead to guide our 3 to 5 program and help build a nurturing, inclusive environment for children and families.

Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the leadership, supervision and administration of the program.
Lead the staff team to plan, evaluate, and implement daily activities in line with SVNH philosophy that support and promote the development of the whole child
Work in partnership and with the Coordinator and Director to explore and implement cutting-edge programming
Builds and maintains supportive and collaborative relationships with families and community service providers
Adapt to changing circumstances, handle emergencies skilfully using discretion and confidentiality
Ensure best practices, licensing requirements and SVNH policies and procedures are met for the program





Qualifications and Skills
Valid BC ECE license to practice, First Aid and Food Safe
Valid Special Needs ECE license to practice an asset
Clear Criminal Record Check upon hire
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare in a leadership role
Sound knowledge of the BC Early Learning Framework and BC Childcare Licensing Regulations
Able to provide a reflective and emergent curriculum
Robust communication and team building skills

Pay: $26.41-$28.29 per hour
