Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following recipes and presentation standards.
Engage with guests in a friendly, skilled manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms; process payments and give correct change.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices,



including identifying signs of intoxication.
Collaborate with team members to manage busy periods smoothly while maintaining high service standards.

Requirements
Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred; hospitality background is a plus.
Familiarity with POS systems like Touch Bistro POS or similar cashiering tools is highly desirable.
Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
A positive attitude with a passion for creating enjoyable guest experiences.
Bilingualism an asset
