Transform lives as a full-time Navigator in Client Services at the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories. This role focuses on client support, accurate data management, and community outreach.
This temporary position will enable you to use your client service experience in a fast-paced setting. Reporting to the Navigator Coordinator, you will assist clients with referrals, maintain their records, and raise awareness about dementia’s effects on individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate referral processes and maintain ongoing client contact
• Engage in delivering standard community services programs
• Promote available services and educate the public
• Keep accurate and comprehensive client records
• Support initiatives to raise dementia awareness
Requirements:
• Background in Social Work, Health Services, or related field
• Experience in client service settings essential
• Knowledge about Alzheimer’s disease beneficial
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work in sensitive situations
