As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering crucial mental health services to individuals navigating psychiatric challenges. Working independently, you’ll coordinate with local and territorial physicians, ensuring thorough assessments and essential care delivery for those in need, including crisis management for suicide ideation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide mental health assessments and treatment plans
• Foster connections with healthcare providers for optimal patient care
• Manage crisis situations effectively and compassionately
• Support patients with concurrent disorders and addictions
• Engage with community resources to promote wellness
Requirements:
• Current licensing as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse
• Experience in mental health service delivery
• Excellent assessment and interpersonal skills
• Capacity to work autonomously in a community setting
