Responsibilities Monthly accounting close processes
Prepare journal entries including accruals and fixed asset depreciation
Prepare analytical analyses as required
Monthly account reconciliations, including balance analysis and ensuring accounting treatment in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
Record inter‑company transactions, ensuring all accounts are balanced
Prepare monthly reporting package(s)
Assist in maintaining adequate internal controls
Assist external and internal auditors during year‑end and interim financial audits/reviews
Perform ad‑hoc reporting to support operations
Assist other team members with corporate projects/assignments
Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules
Collaborate with various teams within the organization, including management
Utilize problem‑solving, analytical and organizational skills to understand the business and accounting processes
Assist with improvement initiatives for data collection and reporting automation
Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects
Qualifications BA/BS degree in Accounting and/or Finance, Canadian Professional Accountant designation preferred
Minimum 3 years related experience in manufacturing industry and/or cost accounting background preferred




Excellent skills in MS Office Suite with advanced or expert level skillset in Excel
Experience with Oracle; Hyperion systems desirable
Self‑starter who can work independently and is flexible with initiative
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving and analytical skills; results driven, accountable and able to meet tight deadlines
Pro‑active spirit, positive communication skills, team oriented and collaborative working style
Exposure to IFRS reporting beneficial
