JOB SUMMARY The Physiotherapist, under the direction of the Clinical Manager, is responsible for completing professional activities that include assessment, treatment, education, and management of clients requiring physiotherapy intervention in accordance with qualified standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES Assess clients and establish and revise treatment programs, including goals and discharge plans.
Maintain accurate clinical records as per College of Physiotherapists of Ontario standards.
Collaborate with other members of the health‑care team as needed.
Monitor and support physiotherapy assistants in a team environment.
Communicate pertinent information and recommendations to clients and care providers, providing education regarding treatment strategies.
Observe the performance of assistants in the physiotherapy program and provide guidance as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Active standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Participation in ongoing internal and/or external education activities.
Adherence to Bayshore I.C.S. policies and procedures.
Participation in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company’s Quality Management System.




Participation in proactive Health & Safety activities and reporting any risks or concerns to the immediate supervisor.
Maintenance of client and corporate confidentiality.
Completion of other tasks as requested.
Enjoyment of working with clients of all ages in multiple treatment environments.
Strong oral and written communication skills, and exceptional interpersonal and decision‑making skills.
Ability to handle difficult situations objectively and consistently.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
Basic knowledge of personal computers and proficiency with secure email.
Commitment to continued learning.
Valid driver’s license.
Current criminal reference check and vulnerable sector screening completed.
Proof of vaccination against COVID‑19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu, etc., may be required depending on provincial regulations.
