Job Title Government Funding and Engineering Projects Manager (Sustainable Alternative Fuel)

Responsibilities Promote joint collaborations (industry/academia) by ensuring smooth and proactive liaison.
Coordinate the requirements of public funders to secure and sustain the company’s partnerships.
Orchestrate funding applications and governance implementation for new partnerships with the Finance, Operations, Legal, and Corporate Affairs teams.
Contribute key expertise to the structuring and prioritised execution of new funding agreements, including a sustainable alternative fuel development project with INSAT and a new Canadian partner.
Coordinate and monitor current funding agreements, such as the project to develop new materials funded by INSAT.
Ensure integrity and compliance of funding agreements through rigorous commitment monitoring.
Collect and analyse technical data to certify compliance with government requirements and secure grants.
Manage liaison with government authorities and innovation project managers related to public funding agreements.
Coordinate preparation and reporting for government audits.
Transform and optimise internal public fund management processes.
Engage stakeholders to increase program operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with government obligations.
Qualifications Engineering degree or equivalent professional degree with strong interest in technical aspects.
5+ years of experience in government funding programs in Quebec and/or Canada.
Experience in government audits (technical and/or financial) – an asset.
Moderate knowledge of engineering and operations sectors and engine programs.
Pragmatic, business‑oriented, focused, and able to prioritise multiple tasks, risks, and considerations.
French‑speaking work environment with very good English proficiency for reading, writing, and communicating technical documentation.
