The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following position with a highly motivated, team-oriented professional:

Registered Nurse

Operating Room & Surgical Day Care

Responsibilities
As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, Dryden Regional Health Centre's Registered Nurses provide comprehensive compassionate nursing care to a variety of clients. As a Full Time Registered Nurse you will provide and co-ordinate nursing care to assigned clients consistent with current Standards of Professional Practice with the Ontario College of Nurses.

Requirements

Current Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario

Current BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider

Completed the Operating Room Techniques Course for Registered Nurses from an accredited institution

A minimum of two (2) years Operating Room experience in circulating and scrubbing considered an asset

Must be able to be on stand-by

Experience working in Emergency, Critical Care and OBS would be an asset

Good Physical health

Willing to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays

Demonstration of robust nursing practice, skill and judgment

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including superior verbal communication abilities

Demonstrated critical thinking, leadership and mentoring skills

Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment





Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour

Proven attendance record

Able to perform the essential duties of the job

Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect

Immunization records must be presented prior to hire
