NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final‑year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real‑world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology, and more.
Enhance communication abilities with medical teams and clients.
Participate in a practicum that ranges from two to eight weeks, fitting your schedule and career goals.
Qualifications
Enrolled in an accredited veterinary technician program in Canada and completing your final practicum in your final year.
Compensation and Benefits
Eligible students receive a stipend to help cover travel expenses, allowing a focus on learning without financial worries.
