Become a critical part of staff development as a Clinical Nurse Educator with Northern Health. This position emphasizes your experience while fostering the skills of nursing professionals.

You will operate under the supervision of the Manager, using your nursing expertise to create educational programs tailored to the needs of the team. Engaging in training sessions, you will help nurses enhance key competencies while ensuring compliance with established guidelines. Your role will also support ongoing revisions of patient care policies enhancing service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct training sessions focused on nursing competencies
• Compile and implement effective education programs
• Facilitate preceptorship and mentorship for junior staff




• Oversee the continuous review of care policies
• Coordinate educational in-service programs

Requirements:
• 3 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Demonstrated leadership in educational roles
• Capability to foster team-oriented environments
• Commitment to patient-centered care principles
