Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Foodista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced setting. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food and beverage preparation, cash handling, and customer engagement. The Barista will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining food safety standards and operational efficiency.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages using POS systems
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality
Restock supplies as needed and assist with basic food preparation tasks




Ensure adherence to food safety standards and health regulations at all times

Qualifications
Previous experience as a Barista/Foodista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and measuring ingredients
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Ability to work in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification is desirable
Food handling experience is advantageous but not mandatory
