GNF Commercial Management Limited is hiring pipe layers to support civil construction projects across Halifax and the surrounding region.
In this role, you will work as part of a pipe crew installing underground water and sewer systems, supporting site servicing work, and contributing to protected and effective project execution.

Responsibilities
Install underground water and sewer piping systems according to plans
Prepare and maintain clean, safe, and organized worksites
Spread gravel and materials to support pipe installation
Assist with civil site servicing activities
Operate hand tools and equipment (drills, jackhammers, saws, shovels)
Work alongside heavy equipment operators while maintaining site safety
Perform site and equipment inspections
Attend safety meetings and participate in training
Follow all company health and safety procedures
Requirements
Experience in civil construction or pipe laying is an asset
Familiarity with water and sewer systems preferred
Experience using hand tools and small equipment
Safety certifications (WHMIS, Fall Protection) are an asset
Physically capable of lifting materials and working in all conditions
Comfortable working outdoors, in trenches, and around heavy machinery
Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
