We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our agile cleaning team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors alike. Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors to uphold cleanliness standards
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste responsibly to maintain a tidy environment
Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and kitchens
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or additional cleaning
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
Qualifications
Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Robust attention to detail with a focus on quality work
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus
Reliable with a positive attitude and excellent time management skills
Must reside in Portage La Prairie or Carman
Must have their own vehicle to go from one site to another
